The result of the US$30million, 21 month project had to be an integrated solution that replaced a number of aging legacy systems and served the requirements of 900,000 civil service personnel.

FELDA, which stands for the Federal Land Development Authority, was established in 1956 to assist in the economic development of rural areas in Malaysia.

The agency now manages an area of land covering 853,313 hectares and works to support more than 530,000 settlers, FELDA staff, contract workers and their families. As Malaysia's largest palm oil refiner, with seven refining plants processing over 8,000 tonnes of oil per day, FELDA required a state of the art software solution that was sufficiently sophisticated and robust to manage its diversified range of activities.
